Wood is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Static Engineer to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering mechanical equipment engineering solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and delivery of mechanical equipment engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with all applicable engineering codes and standards, as well as client policies and procedures.
  2. Contribute to the development of Technical Work Practices (TWP's) and Standards, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices and client requirements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, schedule, and execute discipline activities and deliverables, including manhour estimating and schedule preparation to support bid/tendering as required.
  4. Provide expert advice and guidance on mechanical equipment engineering matters, ensuring that all solutions are safe, efficient, and effective.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong background in mechanical equipment engineering.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the UAE or Middle East.
  4. Offshore experience is essential, with ADNOC experience being highly desirable.
  5. Specialist knowledge of major mechanical equipment types and thorough understanding of relevant international codes and standards.
