We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account all relevant factors, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, budgets, and variations, ensuring that all necessary details are included and that the project is properly scoped.
  • Perform cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing effective solutions.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures throughout the construction process, ensuring that all costs are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare progress reports and financial statements for project stakeholders, providing clear and concise information on project status and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards, ensuring that all projects are delivered to the required quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other construction software.
