Job Summary:

Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our team. As a key member of our design consulting team, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D mechanical BIM models using Revit.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Model Development: Create and maintain accurate and detailed 3D mechanical BIM models using Revit, ensuring compliance with project standards and BIM execution plans.
  2. Integration and Coordination: Integrate mechanical models with architectural, structural, electrical, MEP, and other discipline models, resolving design clashes and inconsistencies.
  3. Documentation and Scheduling: Generate accurate construction documents, drawings, and schedules from BIM models, and maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation.
  4. Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  5. Best Practices: Implement best practices for BIM modeling and project execution, and participate in coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of mechanical elements.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler in design consulting companies in the GCC.
  3. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Revit software for BIM modeling, strong knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination, and excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and construction processes.
