About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Construction Coordinator for Instrumentation and Control to join our team at ANOTECH. As a key member of our site team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of instrumentation construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of site-based Instrumentation elements, including review and comment on Contractors' execution of discipline-specific CWPs (Construction Work Packages) and IWPs (Installation Work Packages).
- Participation in integrated site planning sessions to input company-specific knowledge and provide expert guidance.
- Review of work site implementation schedules from Contractors, with a focus on identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Promotion of site schedule adherence, tracking daily execution progress, and highlighting potential or emergent issues through regular reporting.
- Coordination with Contractors' counterparts and other site teams to ensure readiness for executing CWPs, IWPs, and other scopes as required.
- Acting as Client focal point for site Instrumentation discipline construction matters, providing resolution to technical and non-technical queries, and proactively identifying initiatives to maximize productivity and quality of work.
- Interfacing with Client and Contractor disciplines to oversee and complete Instrumentation works.
- Providing a constant site presence, visiting and inspecting preparation for and active work fronts at site, ensuring compliance with contractual and legally mandated codes, standards, and practices.
Requirements
- A recognized Instrumentation discipline trade/craft qualification or engineering degree as a minimum.
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrable site-based Instrumentation construction/installation experience in a client-focused discipline construction coordination role within an onshore Chemical, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas Greenfield/Brownfield environment in the Middle East.
- Familiarity with Instrumentation installation, zoning, cable grouping, and tray conflict.
- Understanding of IP and COMPEX rated installations.
- Knowledge of distributed automation control installations, heart protocols, F&G, ESD C&E.
- Understanding of I/O marshaling configurations and cards, local IP addressable controllers.
- Fluency in English written and spoken.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong Team ethic, able to work autonomously.
- Computer literacy in typical office programs and project management software.
