We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to join our team at Axia Global in Dubai. As an Officer – EHS, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety practices across our facility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE-specific EHS regulations and standards, as well as experience in conducting safety inspections and audits, monitoring environmental parameters, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Routine Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to EHS policies and local regulatory standards.
- Monitor Environmental Parameters: Monitor environmental parameters such as air quality and waste management, and maintain related documentation.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE-specific regulations related to occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Report Incidents: Report and document safety incidents, near-misses, and hazards promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar industry.
Key Skills:
- EHS Knowledge: Basic understanding of UAE-specific EHS regulations and standards.
