About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Baker Hughes Gruppe. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing work at the field site, providing quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Alternate methods of completing tasks if the set method is not viable.
  • Perform installation and maintenance activities of rotating equipment in the field at customer sites.
  • Specialize in Aero Gas Turbine products like LM2500 / LM6000 / PGT25+ DLE.
  • Act as primary contact to work with the customer and site team to coordinate activities on the site.
  • Provide records of all activities accomplished at the customer site to the Baker Hughes TPS Supervisor.
  • Execute all required responsibilities safely by following all TPS service applicable processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Engineering/High School Technical Diploma or equivalent business experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry within field maintenance or installation activities.
  • Significant hands-on experience in performing L2 and L3 maintenance inspections including HSE swap on site.
  • Ability to lead the site teams and communicate well with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities, set specific progress goals, and be accountable to your targets.
  • Able to understand and implement mechanical drawings.
