**Job Summary**

LHH Company is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement safety training programs for drivers, including vehicle inspection reports, hours of service reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  • Track and maintain records of regulatory requirements, including MSHA, EPA, DOT, OSHA, and USCG.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to evaluate safe work behaviors and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide administrative support to the Fleet Safety & Maintenance Manager, including scheduling and training.
  • Lead classroom training for new hire safety training and ensure consistent training procedures.
  • Comprehend and follow all company policies and procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years of safety experience required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least two years related experience and/or training.
  • OSHA and FMCSA experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company's handbook and training manuals.
