Star Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Helper to join our team. As a Mechanical Helper, you will be responsible for assisting Mechanical Technicians in the fieldwork and providing support in the maintenance and operation of power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Mechanical Technicians in the fieldwork, including tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide support in the operation of power plants, including monitoring equipment and performing routine checks.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as welding, cutting, and drilling.
  • Work in confined spaces such as boiler, distiller, culvert, etc. and at heights on scaffolding, chimneys, high equipment, etc.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a power plant environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic English, Arabic, and/or Urdu language.
  • Experience in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial safety and strict adherence to safety rules.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The candidate must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces, and must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.

Language: English, Arabic, and/or Urdu
