Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fire safety programs to meet national and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular fire safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate fire safety risks.
  • Design and implement fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and fire suppression systems.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Provide training and education to employees on fire safety procedures and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in fire safety and security.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fire safety engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Defence fire code and NFPA standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of emergency management principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fire engineering experience within the GCC or UAE.
  • Airport fire and life safety experience.
  • Emergency management experience.
  • NEBOSH Fire and Safety Risk Management certification.
