Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading project staff, providing technical support, and ensuring the highest level of quality assurance in our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Transportation Planning: Develop and implement transportation plans for heavy lift cargo, taking into account cargo details, transportation modes, infrastructure, and local and international legislation.
- Project Management: Manage and lead project staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to the team, ensuring the highest level of quality assurance in our operations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all technical standards and guidelines are applied consistently and effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or logistics.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
