Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive Senior Associate or Vice President to enhance their investment risk management processes on their portfolio. The successful candidate will partner with investment managers to evaluate risk implications pre and post-deal, including CEO succession and product risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial due diligence on potential investments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Model potential impacts on company performance, revenue, costs, and profitability to inform strategic decisions.
- Assess implications on exit strategies and collaborate with investment teams to develop effective risk management frameworks.
- Conduct operational due diligence to ensure investee companies have robust risk management frameworks in place.
- Engage consultants as needed for specialized risk assessments and interventions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's (and/or) master's degree in a top-tier university.
- Strong background in private markets, with experience in investment risk assessment and portfolio management.
- Proven ability to communicate complex risk concepts effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Experience with operational due diligence and risk modeling tools.
- Cross-sector experience and adaptability highly valued.
