We are seeking a highly experienced Transportation Industry Sales Professional to join our Commercial team at Etihad Rail Operating Companies. This dynamic sales professional will play an active part in the Commercial team, focusing on field sales, identifying and developing targeted accounts.
Main Responsibilities:- Monitor existing clients and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Work closely with the Commercial team to develop strategies for new account acquisition.
- Resolve day-to-day commercial issues with assigned clients and prospects.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses for assigned accounts.
- Oversight of account compliance to ensure company contracts are maximized to full potential.
- Support marketing materials and present Etihad Rail Freight at trade shows and events.
- Analyze competition activities and market dynamics to adjust account strategies accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments, anticipating changes in client needs and tailoring solutions to meet evolving requirements.
- Degree in transport, logistics, industry, or a related field (diploma or bachelor's preferred).
- Industry Knowledge Certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Existing network across targeted customers for faster on-boarding and client development.
- Good knowledge of logistics, supply-chains, shipping, or forwarding environment and trends.
- Product knowledge of different modes of transport and their respective strengths.
- UAE Driving License.
- Advanced level of written and verbal skills in English, Arabic is a plus.
