We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our team at Medbiomate. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient coding of medical documents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Coding and Documentation: Ensure proper coding of documents in accordance with regulator's guidelines and regulations.
- Data Analysis: Abstracts all necessary information from health records to identify secondary complications and co-morbid conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluates the record for documentation consistency and adequacy.
- Training and Guidance: Provides training and guidance to other coders / Medical Records Technicians in coding.
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health Sciences or related areas with at least two (2) years of coding experience with valid Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certification from American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
- Computer literacy, MS Office.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
