Job Description

This is a senior procurement role that requires strategic leadership to deliver impactful value from the Non-IT category, including facilities management, real estate projects, general services, operations, marketing, corporate, and human resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of category management strategies and be able to implement optimization plans that deliver significant savings.

  • The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team and develop category management strategies that drive business value.
  • Key accountabilities include active engagement in the development and execution of procurement strategy 2025-2028, developing and deploying strategic category management, and ensuring maximum value from assigned categories.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic/Relational:
    • Develop and deploy strategic category management which will provide quantifiable value for ADIB.
    • Ensure maximum value from c. 1bn AED spend under influence within assigned categories.
    • Support the accreditation of Procurement to the Global Standards of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
  • Functional:
    • Lead complete end-to-end procurement services for assigned spend categories (Facilities Management, Real Estate, Projects, General Services, Operations, HR, Marketing).
    • Engage with Business Group Heads to ensure understanding and alignment on Roles & Responsibilities and value proposition from Procurement.
