Role Overview

The **Cost Estimator Specialist** is tasked with the critical responsibility of accurately assessing and pricing based on Contract drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all post-contract Quantity Surveying functions, including the administration of interim and final payments, variations, and commercial correspondence.
  • Provide guidance on contractual matters to ensure compliance and understanding.
  • Verify the completeness and validity of contractual obligations.
  • Offer insights on resource allocation for Contractors.
  • Conduct audits on payments made to Contractors to ensure accuracy.
  • Facilitate timely submission and thoroughness of valuations.
  • Document and verify the measurement of completed work.
  • Prepare documentation for variations and day-works as required.
  • Oversee the monitoring of final cost estimates for contracts.
  • Maintain comprehensive expenditure records for financial tracking.
  • Review, negotiate, and prepare settlements for claims.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the project team.
  • Compile financial statements for monthly reporting purposes.
  • Execute additional responsibilities associated with this role as necessary.
