AJMAN UNIVERSITY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Institutional Effectiveness Officer. As a key member of our Unit of Assessment and Effectiveness, you will play a critical role in driving the institution's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Unit of Assessment and Effectiveness to achieve its targets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Champion a culture of evidence-based assessment across all academic and non-academic units, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement training programs for faculty and staff in institutional effectiveness.
- Organize and lead assessment workshops for academic units, utilizing best practices for continuous quality improvement.
- Oversee annual effectiveness reports from colleges for all academic programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Research and provide information on benchmarking and best practices in institutional effectiveness, developing strategies for implementation.
- Conduct feedback surveys for academic and non-academic units to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop comprehensive plans for educational outcomes assessment, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
- Audit course files for all programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate IEC and APC meetings.
About You:
- You have a Bachelor degree with at least five years' experience in assessment and effectiveness reporting.
- You have a proven track record of managing institutional effectiveness projects.
- You have experience working with senior academics.
- You are experienced in working diligently to achieve targets while meeting deadlines.
Your Skills:
- You have in-depth knowledge of assessment practices for continuous improvement, with experience implementing best practices.
- You have expertise in determining and enhancing institutional effectiveness, with experience developing strategies to improve performance.
- You possess excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality reports and presentations.
- You have highly developed communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with experience working effectively with colleagues.
- You have excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
