We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry & Bakery Commis II to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Hotel. As a key member of the Pastry & Bakery kitchen, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of pastries and bakery items according to established procedures and standards.
  • Development and maintenance of standard recipes with Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I.
  • Contribution to product development and kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.
  • Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Participation in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with Four Seasons Food Standards and a commitment to upholding these standards.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
