Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled University and Careers Guidance Counsellor to join our team at Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to students and their families in navigating the university and scholarship application process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement assemblies, workshops, and seminars to inspire and educate students, parents, and post-secondary representatives.
  • Provide personalized advice and assistance to students in identifying their academic and career goals, and developing balanced academic plans.
  • Organize and facilitate university guidance sessions for IB DP students, and advise on university choices to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with families about post-secondary planning, track student progress, and support the application process.
  • Prepare and submit recommendation letters, and assist with pre-admissions tests and university applications.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with global universities, and facilitate work experience opportunities for Grade 10 students.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in university and careers guidance, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and relevant experience in a similar role are required.
