Job Title: Assistant Public Relations Manager

Accor is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Public Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive public relations strategy that showcases our luxury brand and drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a Marketing Communications Plan: Create a strategic plan that includes goals, budget, and tactics to effectively communicate our brand message to key stakeholders.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with local and national business and industry media outlets to secure high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.
  • Public Relations Activities: Coordinate all public relations activities, including event planning, social media management, and content creation.
  • Social Media Management: Direct the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media platforms.
  • Media Inquiries: Manage media inquiries and interview requests, ensuring that our brand is represented in a positive and professional manner.
  • Content Creation: Develop content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations that showcase our brand's expertise and thought leadership.
  • PR Results: Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a monthly basis to ensure that our efforts are meeting our goals.
  • Partnerships and Sponsorships: Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis to drive business growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness and establish our brand as a leader in the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Industry Trends: Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting our clients and make recommendations regarding communication strategy.
  • Project Management: Manage photo and video shoots, conduct location scouts, and site tours for media.
  • Financial Management: Process financial documentation to secure outsourced work with agencies and other external suppliers.
  • Brand Guardianship: Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring that all consumer-facing communications follow our brand standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with appointed agencies, supplying a written creative brief with specific communication objectives, target market, and any additional information as required.
  • Quality Control: Proof-read all communication materials to ensure that the brand tone of voice is followed.
  • Director Support: Assist the Director of Marketing and PR in executing the resort business objectives.
  • Design and Collateral: Occasionally design in-house collateral, including flyers, menus, posters, and hotel screen banners.

Qualifications:

  • Public Relations Experience: Proven working experience in public relations required.
  • Campaign Success: Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level.
  • Media Relationships: Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
  • Spokesperson Experience: Experience in acting as a company spokesperson, comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews.
  • Writing and Editing: Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Social Media: Solid experience with social media, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Event Planning: Event planning experience.
  • Education: BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in the Public Relations or related professional area.
  • PR Expertise: An experienced PR expert, a dynamic and self-driven, creative individual.
  • Luxury Hotel Background: Strong luxury hotel background/luxury brand background is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, written and spoken.
