We are seeking a highly skilled MRICS Valuation Surveyor to contribute to our success. This role involves conducting thorough commercial property valuations in accordance with RICS standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting market trend analysis, economic indicator analysis, and property data analysis to determine accurate property values.
- Preparing comprehensive valuation reports ensuring clarity and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather relevant information for valuations.
- Staying updated on industry regulations and market dynamics to provide informed insights.
- Providing expert advice on property values to clients and supporting decision-making processes.
- Undertaking complex and portfolio valuations and collating data required as per company procedures.
- Carrying out research to establish and justify the value reached and compiling valuation reports.
- Reviewing valuation reports and providing feedback to the team to ensure compliance with RICS Red Book and Valuation Guidelines.
- Understanding and applying the RICS Code of Conduct and RICS International Property Measurement Standards (IPMS).
- Developing and managing client relationships in order to retain existing clients and win new business.
- Actively pursuing business development opportunities. Introducing new clients to the firm and actively cross-selling other Continental Real Estate services.
- Liaising with Team Administrator to receive valuation instructions and ensuring that appropriate progress updates are provided to keep clients updated.
- Managing workload to ensure deadlines are met and assisting in market research assignments when required.
Requirements:
- RICS qualification is a must with at least 3 years' experience in the field.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in commercial property valuations within the UAE market.
- Strong knowledge of local real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to stay highly organized and efficient are all requirements of this position.
