The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, with expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies. You will work closely with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.

Responsibilities include designing and developing instructional materials, conducting instructional research and analysis, and applying tested instructional design theories and methods. You will also provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process and decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
  • State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Maintain project documentation, course folders in and outside of the LMS platform

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: instructional design, education, instructional technology, or a related field or 3 years in-role experience
  • Proficient in Articulate 360 or similar SCORM software creator
  • Design skills within the Adobe suite for PDFs, image design
  • Familiarity with LMS systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer
