• Oversee HSE inspections to guarantee that all products, services, equipment, and items designated for evaluation adhere to HSE standards and are safe for subsequent processing or use. Ensure that inspection activities are thorough and effective.


• Analyze reports, feedback, and contributions from various departments such as technical, projects, and quality to ensure synchronized and prompt support for any HSE-related issues.


• Supervise HSE compliance and performance among staff, engaging in complex and high-stakes HSE inspection activities to ensure adherence to HSE standards and protocols, particularly for equipment installation and operational activities.


• Serve as the primary contact for safety, health, and environmental matters within the company's HSE management systems, facilitating clear communication and understanding with plant personnel.


• Review procurement standards to ensure that all equipment and materials acquired comply with relevant safety regulations and reflect the latest technological advancements.

Operational Safety


• Identify hazardous activities and implement measures to mitigate risks, ensuring the proper disposal of hazardous waste and toxic substances.


• Monitor safety, environmental, and health tools and equipment, including personal protective gear and instruments, to support HSE initiatives.


• Recommend preventive maintenance programs and associated procedures to maintain safety equipment and installations in optimal working condition, ensuring follow-up on these safety programs.


• Contribute to the formulation of plant safety programs, ensuring the availability of safety manuals, hazardous area instructions, and safety publications. Identify unsafe working conditions and propose improvements.


• Prepare and update safety inspection checklists and schedules for assessing plant facilities, identifying hazards, and determining corrective actions.

HSE Initiatives & Project Implementation


• Collaborate with HSE technical experts to lead and participate in HSE-related studies, including HSE Impact Assessments, HAZOP, HAZID, Root Cause Analysis, and Risk Assessments.


• Audit, review, and evaluate ongoing projects and initiatives to ensure sustainable and continuous improvement.


• Spearhead housekeeping and environmental initiatives to enhance the working environment within the plant.

HSE Training


• Assess training requirements for HSE within the designated area, coordinating training sessions with HSE technical and management teams, and conducting HSE training programs.


• Lead or oversee evacuation drills and exercises to ensure personnel readiness for emergency situations.


• Communicate, educate, and inform staff about updates in HSE policies, procedures, practices, and technologies to ensure timely dissemination of information.


• Prepare analyses and reports on routine and non-routine HSE activities.
