About the Role

This role is part of the RBWM Business Finance team, responsible for providing insightful finance support to Segment Heads in key tactical and strategic decision-making. The job holder will support Segments' business teams to provide analytics and facilitate decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of a medium-term strategy with the AVP-Business Finance CWM and Segment heads.
  • Establish a planning framework and model key drivers of revenues and costs.
  • Ensure alignment between Product and Segment revenues.
  • Develop and maintain a challenge process for business cases submitted by Segment teams.
  • Establish a post-implementation review process for material investments spent within Segment teams.
Requirements
  • A qualified accountant or an MBA with specialization in Finance.
  • Between 8-12 years of post-qualification experience in the Finance function of a large bank with exposure to business finance.
  • Exposure to retail banking.
  • A thorough understanding of finance concepts, business performance management, and planning. Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact at senior management levels.
