This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of electrical engineering. As a CAD Engineer with expertise in ELV AV systems, you will work closely with our presales and engineering teams to deliver high-quality drafting requirements for projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To study project requirements before commencing drafting works
  • To understand design intents, IFC drawings, and coordination drawings
  • To complete material take-offs on time with the utmost quality
  • To prepare shop drawings, SSD drawings, SVG drawings, ADMCC drawings, and as-built drawings according to project specifications and industry standards
  • To keep drawing logs up to date at any point in the shared folder
  • To prepare and submit the equipment schedule to the project team
  • To ensure both Orion's and clients' quality standards and specifications are met
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with the client's project team, document controller, and draftsmen
  • To upload the SIRA portal for relevant projects' SVG drawings
  • To evaluate IFCs properly, raise RFIs, and clarify technical queries well
  • To ensure proper documentation is done and able to present the drawings to clients/consultants
  • To promote the company's solution/services/capabilities addressing or predicting client's objectives while building long-term relationships with customers
  • To attend necessary technical training and take certifications as scheduled and planned
  • To ensure HSE compliance at all work activities by implementing safe work practices
  • To report any HSE concerns to the line manager/HSE team for suitable actions
  • To understand and comply with emergency process and incident reporting procedures. Where required, participate in incident investigations

Your Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree: Science or Engineering in Computers, Electronics, Electrical, or Similar
  • AutoCAD 2D/3D course certification is mandatory
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in relevant fields – ELV AV, IT
  • Well-versed with SIRA SSD drawings, SVG drawings, ADMCC, and TRA regulations for the drawings
