About the Organization
This organization is involved in the exploration, production, transportation, and sale of crude oil and natural gas. It operates through various segments: Upstream, Downstream, and Corporate. The Upstream segment encompasses the exploration, field development, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids. The Downstream segment is focused on refining, logistics, power generation, and the marketing of crude oil, petroleum, and petrochemical products, along with related services to both international and domestic clients. The Corporate segment provides essential support services, including human resources, finance, and information technology.
Position Overview
We are in search of a Lead Financial Specialist/Consultant to join the Affiliates & Structuring Advisory Division within the Group Treasury Management Department. The Lead Financial Specialist/Consultant will guide and provide expertise on Treasury matters related to the organization’s Affiliates, which include Wholly Owned Joint Ventures and Public Entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the evaluation of affiliates' corporate finance issues, including liquidity, working capital, dividends, and capital structure.
- Assess and propose strategies to enhance intragroup lending, showcasing an understanding of structuring and tax optimization opportunities.
- Participate in the Affiliates & Structuring Advisory Division within the Group Treasury Management Department.
- Lead and provide guidance on Treasury matters concerning the organization’s Affiliates, including Wholly Owned Joint Ventures and Public Entities.
- Demonstrate expertise in valuation and financial modeling.
- Possess knowledge in debt financing and various financial instruments.
- Understand the intricacies of intragroup lending and tax organization.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and cross-functional experience.
- Have exposure to Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Showcase excellent negotiation abilities.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including mentoring new hires and presenting to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to relocate.
- The ideal candidate will possess an MBA or an equivalent degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, and CTP are preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate finance, focusing on liquidity, working capital, dividends, and capital structure.
- Ability to mentor staff in developing analytical skills and managing project delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and exceptional presentation skills.
