KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Risk Based Inspection Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas fields, with expertise in the following areas:
- Risk Based Inspection (RBI): Working knowledge of reputable RBI software, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Fitness For Service (FFS) and Remnant Life Assessment (RLA): Proven experience in evaluating the remaining life of equipment and developing strategies for safe operation.
- Plant Inspection: Knowledge of API 510, API 570, API 653, and regulatory requirements for pressure equipment, with API certifications a plus.
- Corrosion Control and Material Selection: Skilled in various types of equipment and degradation mechanisms, with expertise in corrosion control and material selection.
- Corrosion Study and Failure Investigation: Experienced in conducting corrosion studies and failure investigations to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
- NDT (Conventional and Advanced): Familiarity with non-destructive testing techniques and equipment.
- Certifications: API 580 - Risk Based Inspection Professional certification a plus.
- Additional Requirements: Priority given to candidates with experience working for ADNOC Group Companies or within the GCC region. Additional experience or certification in corrosion control and material selection a plus.
