Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and milestones. Coordinate and manage all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Technical Support and Design Review: Provide technical expertise during the design phase, ensuring designs meet structural and aesthetic requirements. Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Coordination and Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams. Ensure effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship in fabrication and installation. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial targets are met. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project costs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence. Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and issues.
  • Team Leadership and Support: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical and project management issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in the facade, aluminium, and glazing fabrication industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in project management software, CAD, and other relevant technical tools. Strong knowledge of aluminium and glazing systems.
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Eligibility:
  • Experience: Proven track record of managing facade, aluminium, and glazing projects from design to completion.
  • Location: At least 2 years of work experience in the UAE or GCC region is mandatory.
