**Overview of the Role**

Oxford Knight, a leading hedge fund, seeks an experienced Quantitative Developer to join their high-frequency systematic equities team. As a key member of this entrepreneurial group, you will design and implement sophisticated trading platforms for global equity strategies.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and substantial experience in developing algorithmic trading systems, preferably in systematic equity markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing efficient backtesting tools for simulation and live trading
  • Developing trading systems with reliability, scalability, and timely execution
  • Mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in software development
  • Collaborating with senior PMs to drive project success

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years' experience in developing algorithmic trading systems
  • Strong programming skills in KDB/Q and Python
  • Good knowledge of modern data science tools stacks, including Jupyter, pandas, numpy, sklearn, and machine learning experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM field from a top-tier university
