Job Description

As a Senior Inspection Engineer at ادنوك للبترول, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our assets. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement inspection plans and schedules based on historical data and RBI studies, in collaboration with the Plant Availability Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Inspection Plans: Create and execute inspection plans and schedules to ensure the integrity of our assets, taking into account historical data and RBI studies.
  • Coordinate with Plant Availability Division: Work closely with the Plant Availability Division to forecast requirements for scaffoldings, insulation removal, and crane usage during online inspections.
  • Conduct Inspections and Testing: Perform inspections and testing to identify abnormalities and defects, and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review and Close Work Orders: Review and close maintenance work orders to ensure job completion and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers and Contractors: Coordinate with material analysis, hardness testing, and coating thickness check suppliers, as well as contractors for specialized inspection jobs.
  • Review and Approve QC Dossiers: Review and approve final QC dossiers from contractors, and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies for specialized inspection jobs.
  • Develop and Implement Welding Procedures: Develop and implement welding procedures and specifications, and witness welder qualification tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of inspection and testing principles, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
