Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Technician to lead our team of craftsmen at MatchaTalent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and productivity of our electrical work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Direction and Quality Control: Provide guidance and oversight to a team of 6-10 craftsmen, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Work Planning and Resource Management: Review work requests to plan assignments and determine material and tool requirements, ensuring that all necessary resources are available to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks as Group Head, including report writing and record-keeping of welding work, to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Technical Advice and Training: Offer technical guidance and support to lower-qualified craftsmen, operations, and maintenance teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks effectively.
  • Troubleshooting and Analysis: Troubleshoot and analyze complex projects to determine repair requirements, nature of repair, and whether repairs will be conducted in the shop or field.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical work, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
