We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to lead our Main Kitchen team in Dubai. As a critical member of our kitchen operations, you'll be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring all staff are properly trained and supported.
  • Develop seasonal menus and new dishes in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including training, performance evaluation, and feedback.
  • Guarantee the highest standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation.
  • Evaluate and improve kitchen operations to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to inventory control, ordering, and optimizing kitchen efficiency.
  • Oversee food preparation during peak hours to ensure seamless service.
  • Address special dietary requests and customer preferences when necessary.
  • Maintain consistency in every dish and uphold high culinary standards.
  • Create a positive and collaborative environment among kitchen staff.
Qualifications

We seek someone with:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel, ideally with international experience.
  • Expertise in food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
  • Passion for creative cuisine and innovative cooking.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent training is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills an asset.
  • Experience working with Japanese, Peruvian, or Brazilian cuisines is beneficial.
