Windows Server Engineer

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality support and maintenance services for Microsoft Windows Servers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in server administration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
The successful applicant will work closely with stakeholders to ensure server availability exceeds 99.5%, collaborating with vendors and support teams to achieve service level agreements (SLAs).
Key responsibilities include maintaining server health, providing input into change control and project planning, and participating in business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
Technical Requirements:- Scripting and automation tools
- NTFS and share permission management
- Active Directory Group/User objects
- Group Policies and login scripts
- Windows concepts, domains, Active Directory, and its related principles
- Microsoft Windows Server automation and scripting
- Security principles applicable to Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Network protocols and network services
- Azure Cloud services
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 12+ years of overall experience with Microsoft Windows Server support within server environments exceeding 600 servers
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform accurate root cause analysis (RCA) on resolved incidents and problems
- Ability to mentor junior team members
