Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join our team at IQ-EQ. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support on anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement AML/CFT Frameworks: Design and implement effective AML/CFT frameworks for specific clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as MLRO/Compliance Officer: Serve as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Compliance Officer for IQ-EQ's client companies, attending board meetings and presenting reports as required.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Bodies: Collaborate with DFSA, FSRA, and other regulatory bodies to assist clients in procuring regulatory approvals and related matters.
  • Provide Training and Support: Deliver AML/CFT training to directors and staff of client companies, conduct risk assessments, and analyze and disseminate regulatory information.
  • Supervise and Assess Team Performance: Supervise and assess the Client Compliance Unit team's work, assist in building capabilities, and allocate resources within the team.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Possess a degree from a reputable university, preferably in law, finance, or financial services, and at least 8-10 years of experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on compliance.
  • Professional Qualifications: Hold experience as a DFSA and/or FSRA approved Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
