Key Responsibilities
  1. Receive allocated duties and review enquiry documentation to understand project requirements.
  2. Create drawings and document registers to ensure all deliverables are accountable and completed on time.
  3. Prepare specifications, data sheets, and undertake calculations to meet task requirements.
  4. Coordinate with the drafting office coordinator for checking and issuing of drawings.
  5. Prepare the Purchase Request (PR), including Bill of Materials, specifications, datasheets/drawings, inspection test requirements, and vendor data requirements.
  6. Undertake technical evaluations of vendor offers for complex items to ensure PR's technical details are satisfied.
  7. Conduct pre-engineering site surveys to provide input information for detailed engineering.
  8. Provide reports on project progress against approved plans and budgets, highlighting potential problems or delays and recommending solutions.
  9. Prepare man-hour estimates for Engineering deliverables at the estimation stage, for consideration in the development of the final bid.
