Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Planning Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality transport planning projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing junior team members, conducting and managing transport planning, modelling, and analysis projects, and ensuring the delivery of projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership: Lead and oversee junior team members, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  2. Transport Planning and Modelling: Conduct and manage transport planning, modelling, and analysis projects, utilizing recognized transport modelling tools such as VISUM and STEAM.
  3. Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
  4. Report Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  5. Business Development: Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  6. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation in project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Transportation and Civil Engineering; an MSc in Transport Planning or in Civil Engineering would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 6-12 years of experience in transport planning, modelling, and analysis, with at least 2 years of experience in UAE roles.
  • Skills: Proficiency in recognized transport modelling tools, experience with junction operational analysis using tools like SIDRA, SYNCHRO, and HCS, and demonstrated experience in managing and delivering TIS and TMP projects.
  • Certifications: ITC (Integrated Transport Centre) recognition as Engineer or Modeller, and RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) registration as Engineer or Modeller would be advantageous.
