Maintenance Quality Engineer

The Maintenance Quality Engineer at Air Arabia PJSC (G9) is responsible for ensuring the quality of maintenance work performed on the AAG Fleet. This involves reviewing and analyzing defects within the fleet to identify critical and repetitive issues that may impact performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review all defects within the AAG Fleet to identify critical and repetitive issues that may impact operational performance.
  2. Provide recommendations for rectification with minimal cost and effort.
  3. Maintain an operator database of in-service troubleshooting experience to ensure efficient defect resolution.
  4. Monitor the Aircraft Technical Logbooks related to the status of Deferred & Repetitive Defects.
  5. Monitor online real-time aircraft fault reporting data systems.
  6. Review aircraft health monitoring / predictive modules for trends affecting operational performance and liaise with engineering regarding matters of concern.
  7. Review post-closure events to determine if technical issues are fully resolved or require further action.
  8. Assess mitigation plans, including setting up prevention programs, internal parts pool reviews, and facility assessments.
  9. Coordinate with Engineering to release technical notices based on in-service experience.
  10. Manage Critical MEL and recurrent defect actions as the single point of contact.
  11. Participate in the daily aircraft operation production meeting to review the operational / maintenance status of fleet aircraft and initiate necessary action.
  12. Collaborate with the CAMO reliability Department to review component removals and establish trend information.
  13. Provide troubleshooting recommendations to assist in routine aircraft defect analysis.
  14. C coordinate with Systems Engineers to resolve complex technical cases.
  15. Distribute reports and statistics as required to meet business needs.
