About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Priority Worldwide. As a key member of our global logistics organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications
  • Create user interfaces, serverside logic, and APIs for seamless integration
  • Ensure efficient software performance and scalability
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum practices, including sprint planning and code reviews
  • Conduct unit and integration testing, identify and resolve software defects
  • Integrate third-party services and maintain internal APIs
  • Design databases, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and automate deployment pipelines
  • Implement secure coding practices and maintain compliance with security standards
  • Create technical documentation and provide ongoing software maintenance
  • Work with various teams and communicate project status effectively
  • Stay updated with new technologies and optimize the existing codebase
Requirements
  • Ability to work schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am EST-6pm EST
  • Independent work and collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
  • Proactivity: Initiative in identifying tasks, problems, and proposing solutions
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for conveying technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical thinking to break down challenges and design data-driven solutions
  • Organizational skills: Efficient in managing software development lifecycles and maintaining version control
  • Cloud service knowledge: Familiarity with cloud infrastructures (e.g. Azure, AWS) for scalable application deployment
  • Managed service provider understanding: Knowledge of MSP integration with in-house systems for seamless communication and service delivery
  • System administration: Experience in managing servers, databases, and application environments
  • Network administration: Ability to work with network configurations to ensure data integrity and security
  • Operating system proficiency: Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux for cross-platform software development
  • Cybersecurity expertise: Strong understanding of secure software development practices and principles
