Senior Craftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Craftsman - Mechanical (Hydraulic) to join our team at Najma Consultancy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems, as well as a strong background in mechanical engineering.

• Implement and follow up on safety management plans and environmental standards
• Perform maintenance work on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems
• Conduct checks and adjustments on mechanical equipment as needed or per instruction
• Strip down mechanical equipment efficiently, identify and report abnormalities, repair or replace items as required, and reassemble equipment
• Carry out PMs, running inspections, and checklists on a daily basis as per maintenance planning requirements
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance work with minimal direction and supervision within time constraints, reducing production downtime
• Initiate replacement of worn-out or failed components/parts in a safe manner
• Provide guidance and expertise to other divisions as required
• Monitor repeated breakdowns and undertake proper action to resolve problems using CMMS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the same industry
• Well-experienced in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems
• Maintenance of heavy machinery or general fitting skills in an engineering industry
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings, service manuals, and job content instructions
• Experience in maintenance/lubrication on various equipment and heavy equipment
