  • This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the coding process.
Responsibilities

SUBMISSION TEAM

  • The Coding and Compliance Professional will be responsible for reviewing and validating patient information, medical records, and billing claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines and payer requirements.
  • This includes checking demographic details of patients, verifying supporting details/justification for all investigations done, and ensuring that all CPT codes entered are correct based on CPT guidelines.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring excluded ICD and CPT codes are in accordance with coding guidelines, verifying that approved services and rendered services match, and ensuring all requested investigations are completed and invoiced.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with CPC Coding/AAPC certification required. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the coding process.
