Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the review and design of Traffic Control Systems for Signalized Junctions and CCTV Camera Systems.
  2. Develop and implement complex engineering tasks and projects efficiently and accurately.
  3. Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
  4. Provide ITS advice and guidance into various road and highway infrastructure projects.
  5. Carry out studies for the implementation and operation of ITS Applications.
  6. Coordinate with clients and other disciplines.
Requirements:
  1. BSc Degree in Electrical/Telecommunications/Computer/Electronics Engineering; MSc Degree would be a plus.
  2. Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) or Professional Engineer (PE) would be a plus.
  3. Minimum 10+ years post-graduate experience in Design of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Communications systems, and CCTV systems.
  4. ITC Abu Dhabi approval for TCS and ITS Design is mandatory.
  5. Experience in the design and operation of ITS infrastructure.
  6. Experience in the design of Urban Traffic Control Systems (TCS).
  7. Experience in the design of CCTV Systems.
  8. In-depth knowledge of ITS, TCS, and CCTV design standards and procedures.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Good communication and coordination skills.
  2. Experience in the operation and maintenance requirements of ITS infrastructure.
  3. Experience with electronics and telecommunications systems as related to ITS, TCS, and CCTV.
  4. Knowledge of computer software applications related to ITS and CCTV.
  5. Candidate with prior local experience with consultants.
  6. Candidate with international experience with consultants would be a plus.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  8. Excellent presentation skills.
