BD SELECT is seeking a highly skilled Premium Brand Strategist to lead our foodservice marketing efforts in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and brand development, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to Foodservice Premium Strategy:
    • Assist in developing long-term plans and budgets to drive business growth and increase market share.
    • Develop and define the annual foodservice marketing plan, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Manage Product/Brand Portfolio:
    • Oversee regional innovation projects, developing 360 launch plans to drive product adoption and customer engagement.
    • Analyze brand performance, trends, and competition to provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
    • Collaborate with market leaders to enhance brand development in terms of sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Activate Premium Foodservice Network:
    • Develop an annual activation plan for the foodservice network, driving engagement and customer loyalty.
    • Define communication strategies and develop media plans to effectively reach and engage with key stakeholders.
    • Co-manage digital strategy alongside digital activation leads to ensure seamless execution.
    • Enhance sales tools and organize culinary events in the region to drive business growth.
  • Recruit and Develop Local Chef Ambassadors:
    • Create signature recipes with local Chef Ambassadors, showcasing the brand's commitment to culinary excellence.
    • Engage chef networks through events, demonstrations, and trade shows to build brand awareness and drive business growth.
  • Maintain Relationships with VIP Clients:
    • Develop a loyalty program strategy to drive customer retention and loyalty.
    • Organize specific events and services for VIP clients, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Participate in Local Events:
    • Represent BD SELECT at prominent trade shows such as Gulfood, driving brand awareness and business growth.

Required Qualities:

  • Strategic and Operational Vision: Ability to operate within an international context, driving business growth and increasing market share.
  • 3 years in a similar role, with experience in marketing and brand development.
  • Experience of the GCC market is required, with a strong understanding of local consumer preferences and behaviors.
  • MBA in marketing or equivalent, with a focus on strategic marketing and brand development.
  • Autonomy and Challenge Orientation: Ability to prioritize various demands and work independently, with a strong sense of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects with a high degree of autonomy, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Market Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the Middle Eastern market, with a strong knowledge of local consumer preferences and behaviors.
  • Languages: Professional proficiency in English (B2 level) and Arabic is required, with French as a plus.
