Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CAD engineer to join our team as a technical draftsman for solar projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and MICRO Station software, as well as experience in creating detailed technical drawings for electrical and renewable energy projects. Key responsibilities include creating precise and comprehensive technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical projects, designing solar PV systems, and collaborating closely with technical/design managers, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that drawings and designs meet project requirements and specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess industry-recognised advanced vocational or technical training from a reputed institution, with a diploma or higher in electrical engineering being a plus. You should also have minimum 2-5 years of work experience in drafting for electrical projects, with experience in renewable energy being an added advantage. Additionally, you must have a functional knowledge about the workings of electrical and solar projects, basic understanding of engineering skills and concepts, drafting speed, ability to find corrections and devise drawings, and willingness to work to deadlines.
