At Rakairport, we are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing rescue and firefighting techniques and tactics in line with ICAO & GCAA Standards and Recommended Practices.

This role requires the ability to respond to all relevant incidents and accidents within area of jurisdiction, scope of training and expertise.

• Inspect fire appliances, media levels, firefighting and rescue equipment.
• Ensure full understanding of vehicle and/or equipment and limitations to ensure utilization within design parameters.
• Operate Fire Fighting and Rescue Equipment and Tools.

The ideal candidate will have excellent physical fitness and be able to maintain this level of fitness throughout their career.

• Strong knowledge of firefighting and rescue techniques and tactics.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness level required for the role.
