Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in cost planning and estimating, value engineering, bills of quantities production, tender services, contract drafting, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cost plans and estimates using BCIS and NRM1, conduct value engineering studies, prepare cash flow forecasts, perform whole life costing analysis, manage risks, produce bills of quantities using POMI and CESSM3, and compile, analyze, negotiate, and recommend tenders.
- Manage bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs, prepare interim valuations and payment certificates, analyze variations, manage risks, control costs, and develop responses to commercial risks.
Requirements:
- Hold MRICS or APC qualification and anticipate completing chartership within specified time period.
- Have experience in mixed-use, building, or infra procurement backgrounds.
- Possess degree in quantity surveying from recognized UK university.
- Meet minimum 10 years' experience requirement.
- Have minimum 5 years' UAE/international experience.
- Hold railway or metro experience (advantageous).
- Have consultant and/or client background for minimum 3 years.
- Be proficient in QS software Cost X or similar.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
