  • Identifying potential legal risks and advising on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Managing legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration, and liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Ensuring proper corporate governance practices are in place, including compliance with board requirements and shareholder agreements.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  • Keeping up to date with new laws and regulations that may affect the organization and advising on necessary changes.
  • Maintaining records of legal documents, contracts, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Educating employees about legal obligations and compliance requirements.

We require a qualified candidate with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. A Master's degree (LLM) or professional certification (e.g., Bar admission) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting.
  • A strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
