About the Role:

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of site conditions to guarantee suitability for designed landscape works.
  2. Carry out surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure adherence to codes, standards, and specifications.
  3. Inspect construction processes, including temporary works, to verify compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
  4. Provide practical advice on constructional matters and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Maintain accurate records of non-conforming works, generate reports, and coordinate corrective actions.
  6. Document non-conformances and participate in determining suitable resolutions.
  7. Possess excellent mathematical skills to prepare engineering calculations, graphs, and charts.
  8. Maintain relevant engineering records and generate activity reports, progress reports.
  9. Assist in preparing 'as-built' drawings and support inspection of completed works.
  10. Prepare snag lists and hand over completed works to operating authorities.
  11. Perform additional responsibilities as necessary.
  12. Adhere to site safety procedures and protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience, is required.
  2. At least 5 years of related experience and technical qualification in construction and supervision of irrigation works, landscaping works, and infrastructure works.
  3. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  5. Proficiency with basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, and project management software is required.
