This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the field of construction. As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the engineering team in planning and monitoring of all activities within the engineering projects programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and Coordination: Involve in planning and coordination of all activities within the engineering projects programs.
  2. Specifications Review: Assist in reviewing project specifications and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  3. Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, including milestones and deliverables.
  4. Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of projects, working closely with project managers and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
  5. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in the analysis of technical drawings and development of project plans.
  6. Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project managers, vendors, and customers.
  7. Problem-Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks.
  8. Cash Flow Management: Manage project cash flow, ensuring that actual expenditures align with planned spend and progress.
  9. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent degree.
  2. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years experience in the construction field.
  3. Language Skills: Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  4. Skills and Software: Planning and project management skills and software.
  5. Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills.
