Job Summary:

Linked4HR Human Resources Consultancies LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Land Rigs Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on land-based drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and other electrical infrastructure, to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on land-based drilling rigs, including identifying and resolving problems with electrical equipment and systems.
  • Electrical Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards, and that all electrical systems are properly maintained and inspected.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems, and communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure that electrical work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of electrical work and inspections, and provide regular reports to management on electrical system performance and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, and additional relevant electrical certifications or licenses, such as a Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Electrician with land-based drilling rigs and familiarity with rig-specific electrical systems.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment used in industrial or oil and gas settings, as well as proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and management.
