We are seeking a highly skilled EGEP Field Operations & Commissioning Engineer to join our team at MPH Global. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile project in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Coordinate activities required with affiliate Field Operations entity, based on project needs.
- Engineering Follow-Up: Control and monitor Contractors' performance for the subject relative to Field Operations, ensuring timely delivery and review of Contractor's engineering documents, studies, and queries.
- Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start Up: Monitor and support commissioning activities with Contractor, identifying and delivering all studies and documents related to Field Operations.
- Contract Management: Prepare and launch contract with affiliate if required.
- HSSE and Ethics: Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior about HSSE requirements, Company Ethics, and 'Code of Conduct' policy, promoting and enforcing the Corporate Anti-Corruption Program within the project team.
Requirements:
- Professional Experience: 20 years in Oil and Gas projects, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, relevant site experience in an onshore field, and 10 years as Commissioning Manager.
- Qualifications: Engineer degree, with English as a mandatory language.
Project Objectives:
- Valorise associated HP gas from CPF1 production (120 Kbopd) for 2 years and reduce flaring.
- Valorise 50MMscfd of gas coming from other fields (Majnoon and/or WQ2), to support the Government in reducing flaring levels in the south of Iraq for another few years, while making the activity profitable.
- The development project will be designed via a DBOOM (Design, Build, Own, Operate and Maintain) contract, including Detailed Engineering, Construction/Commissioning and Operation phases.
- There will be some other parts of the work outside of the DBOOM contract (early works, 5 pipelines...) treated in interfaces with other projects.
- The overall project's budget is around 300 MUSD.
Roles and Activities:
- During Engineering Studies (6 to 8 months): Operations role ensuring all Field Operations inputs and Commissioning are incorporated.
- During Construction Phase: Act as Commissioning Site Leader.
