Job Description
Asterix Communications seeks a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a part-time remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, collating, and preparing documents, materials, and information for data entry.
- You will conduct research to obtain information for incomplete documents and materials, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Your duties will also include creating digital documents from paper or dictation, reviewing all documents and information for accuracy, and informing the supervisor of any errors or inconsistencies.
- In addition, you will capture data into digital databases and perform regular backups to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
- You will also update and maintain databases, archives, and filing systems, as well as monitor and review databases for errors or inconsistencies.
- Furthermore, you will generate and export data reports, spreadsheets, and documents as needed to support business operations.
- Clerical duties such as filing, monitoring office supplies, scanning, and printing will also be an essential part of your responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with data entry software and systems
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
